The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgarry fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Edwards misses with a few strikes there.
Edwards tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mcgarry manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Edwards has his takedown stuffed
and Mcgarry counters with a shoot takedown. Edwards fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Mcgarry stands and throws Edwards's legs to the side, diving into side control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
