Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Robert Mcelfresh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Robert Mcelfresh has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robert Mcelfresh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Miller! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcelfresh tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Miller manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Miller blocks a head kick by Mcelfresh.
Mcelfresh fails to land the takedown. Mcelfresh fails in his attempt to clinch. Miller shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mcelfresh is trying to defend but Miller finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Mcelfresh is breathing heavily. Mcelfresh is refusing to be controlled, as Miller sits in half guard. Miller is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Miller trying to control from half guard but Mcelfresh is working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller works his foot free and advances to mount. Miller is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Mcelfresh to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Mcelfresh shrugs it off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Miller punching from mount but Mcelfresh doing a good job of avoiding damage. Miller looking to land elbow strikes but Mcelfresh uses the position to regain half guard. Miller is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Mcelfresh has managed to free his arm - good work. Miller has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Miller passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Mcelfresh!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miller looking to control but Mcelfresh is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Miller pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Miller tries to control but Mcelfresh wriggling away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller misses with a head shot. Miller takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Miller trying to control but he's not successful this time. Miller pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Miller tries to control but Mcelfresh wriggling away. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Miller working away from the top, dropping strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Miller dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Miller shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mcelfresh's guard. Miller works a leg free and moves into half guard. Miller is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Miller decides to stand and escape the position. Robert Mcelfresh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mcelfresh tries to clinch but Miller moves out of range. Miller changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mcelfresh looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Miller is looking to take a break and control but Mcelfresh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Miller throwing strikes but missing, from side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Miller throws an elbow but Mcelfresh slips to the side and avoids it well. Miller wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mcelfresh, who protects the arm well. Josh Miller has got the better of the ground game so far. Miller misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Miller wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mcelfresh keeps working. Miller decides to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Miller lands a head kick. Mcelfresh smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Robert Mcelfresh has been cut. Miller fails in his attempt to clinch. Miller lands with a slapping head kick. Miller clinches with his opponent.
Miller is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Mcelfresh to keep the fight standing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Miller tries to pull guard but Mcelfresh holds him up against the cage and eventually Miller drops back down to his feet.
Robert Mcelfresh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Miller. Mcelfresh tries to break the clinch but Miller is controlling the position. Miller tries to land knees in the clinch but Mcelfresh avoids the damage to the body. Miller changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mcelfresh fights it off and pushes away nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller stands and throws Mcelfresh's legs to the side, diving into side control. Miller has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Miller avoids a punch combination nicely.
Miller moves into the clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Miller tries to pull guard but Mcelfresh won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Miller has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Mcelfresh uses from the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Miller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Robert Mcelfresh's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Miller closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mcelfresh quickly recovers to half guard. Mcelfresh is in trouble now - Miller has advanced to mount! Miller tries to control but Mcelfresh wriggling away. Mcelfresh knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Miller on the ground. Miller working for a submission but Mcelfresh is keeping him at bay. Miller is stalling here but it's allowed Mcelfresh to get half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Mcelfresh is defending against the submission attempts here by Miller.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Miller thows a huge punch but Mcelfresh dodges it nicely.
Miller trying to control the action but Mcelfresh is working from the bottom. Miller is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Miller thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Josh Miller was stalling too much, according to the referee. Miller moves in looking to clinch but Mcelfresh pushes him off. Miller misses with a wild body shot. Miller throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mcelfresh was covering up waiting for the punch and Miller finishes the takedown easily into guard. Miller trying to control but Mcelfresh is working from the bottom. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Josh Miller hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Miller gets a double leg takedown into Mcelfresh's guard. Miller trying to control the position from guard on top but Mcelfresh is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Robert Mcelfresh has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Josh Miller is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Miller might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mcelfresh kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
And that's the end of the fight! Josh Miller comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Miller has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
