Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thai Muay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Apple Pies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Thai Muay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Apple Pies!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muay drives through and clinches with Pies against the cage.
Muay is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Muay escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Pies tries to clinch but Muay moves out of range.
Muay throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Pies tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Muay is in Pies's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Muay stops Pies from standing up.
Muay wants to stand but Pies has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Muay won't allow Pies to get back to his feet.
Muay wanted to stand there but Pies had control of the position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Muay trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Pies wants to stand and escape but Muay is having none of it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Muay throws a big shot that misses.
Pies tries to clinch up but Muay circles away and keeps his distance.
Muay closes the distance and clinches.
Muay stalling the fight.
Muay breaks from the clinch.
Muay clinches with his opponent.
Pies is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Muay is keeping busy.
Muay turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Muay manages to end up in side control.
Pies is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Muay is controlling him well.
Muay wants to stand but Pies has his arm trapped.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pies pushes Muay away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Muay gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Muay wants to stand but Pies is controlling his arm.
Pies is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Muay tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Muay prevents Pies from escaping the position.

Pies is pushing Muay's head away, looking to escape. Muay manages to hold on to the position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Muay decides to stand back up. Muay steps back and let's Pies get back to his feet.
Muay forces Pies back against the cage and clinches.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Muay is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pies stalling in the clinch but Muay improves position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thai Muay dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Muay throws the left hand but Pies avoids the punch easily.
Pies wants to clinch.
Muay throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Muay keeps the fight on the outside.
Pies tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Muay counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A looping hook to the body misses from Muay. Pies does a little dance to reset his feet.
Muay moves into the clinch successfully.
Pies comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Muay manages to break the clinch.
Muay throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Pies's head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Muay lands a brutal head kick. Pies looks out on his feet and Muay throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Thai Muay!
