Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Maci Killer!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida lands a big head kick that sends Killer tumbling to the mat! Machida takes a step backwards and waves Killer back to his feet - he wants the finish!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Machida showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Killer.
Machida throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Killer stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Killer.
Machida manages to work his way to half guard, despite Killer's best efforts.
Machida has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Killer is working away from the top position though.

Killer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Killer can do anything to dispel that myth.

Machida is looking to take a break and control but Killer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Machida throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Killer tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Machida is in Killer's guard.
Machida wants to control from the top but Killer keeps moving.
Machida gets to his feet. Killer looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Machida stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Killer swivels though and keeps the full guard.
