PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Savo Tieros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Renner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tieros comes to the cage accompanied by All Over You-Live. Renner is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by C U N Hell. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Tieros shoots and misses
and Renner cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Renner tries to sprawl but Tieros drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Renner manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tieros manages to get himself to full guard.

Renner seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Renner drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Renner jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Tieros is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tieros is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Tieros is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Savo Tieros will probably get the nod.

Savo Tieros is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Tieros tries to score a power double leg takedown but Renner sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tieros somewhat.

Tieros shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Renner pinned against the cage. Renner gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

and Renner counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Renner. Tieros shrugs it off though.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Tieros is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Renner moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Jeremy Renner spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
