The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Skip Squint and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eddson lands a nice looking body kick.

Eddson scores with a one two! Hammer had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Let's hope that Hammer has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Hammer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Eddson's waist but Eddson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hammer off to one side.
Hammer shoots in looking for a takedown but Eddson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hammer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Eddson.
Hammer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Eddson tries to avoid it but Hammer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Eddson to the ground. Eddson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jack Hammer has got the better of the ground game so far.
Hammer uses his free foot to push down on Eddson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Eddson.
