The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dime misses with a few strikes there.

Nostro closes the distance and clinches up with Dime, looking for a takedown. Nostro pushes Dime against the cage but Dime circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Nostro crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Dime - the referee stops the clock and Nostro gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Dime. Nostro manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Jonny Dime seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Dime counters with a thumping low kick.
A lazy left from Dime finds it's target.
Nostro throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dime's waist but Dime gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nostro off to one side.
Nostro dives in and grabs Dime's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dime pushes down on Nostro's head and hops out.
Nostro leaves Dime with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Nostro shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dime sprawls well. Dime wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nostro gets slowly back to his feet.

Nostro is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Dime looks calm but he's in trouble here. Nostro gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Dime is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Nostro lets go of the hold and Dime can pop his arm back in it's socket.
