Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jon Bane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Ricardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Ricardo struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. John Ricardo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jon Bane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, John Ricardo! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A left lands for Ricardo. Ricardo throws a series of punches but Bane avoids them all with ease. Ricardo misses with a double jab.
Bane uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ricardo. Bane scores a takedown into full mount! Ricardo wants to control but Bane is having none of it. Ricardo is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Ricardo defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Bane. Ricardo tries to hold on but Bane postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bane forces the positional change into back control. Ricardo is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Bane off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Ricardo has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Ricardo trying to control the hands but Bane won't let him. Ricardo tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
That's one minute gone in the round. Ricardo tries to reverse the position but Bane maintains control. Bane looking to control but Ricardo is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Ricardo is working to get back to half guard.
Bane working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Ricardo turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Bane off and cradles Ricardo's limp body as Bane celebrates with his corner.
