Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Otto von Goldstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doe's entrance music is How could I just kill a man. A fine choice. von Goldstein is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Heut ist mein tag. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Doe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Otto von Goldstein! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jonathan Paton and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! von Goldstein rushes Doe and presses him up against the cage. With the fighters clinched against the cage, von Goldstein creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. von Goldstein lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. von Goldstein misses with a punch to the body.
von Goldstein throws a punch but it's blocked by Doe. von Goldstein lands a hook that snaps the head of Doe backwards. von Goldstein makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Doe goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
von Goldstein jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Doe walks away with a smile on his face. von Goldstein gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Doe dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Doe dodges the punch combination from von Goldstein.
von Goldstein lands a nice hook to Doe's body. Doe takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. von Goldstein keeps the fight on the outside. This has been an exciting period of action! Doe avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Doe just misses with a punch to the body.
von Goldstein throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Doe was covering up waiting for the punch and von Goldstein finishes the takedown easily into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. von Goldstein slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doe looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. von Goldstein lands a couple of elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Doe looking for subs off his back but von Goldstein has passed one foot through into half guard.
von Goldstein is looking to advance position but Doe won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. von Goldstein lands a nice short elbow. von Goldstein keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Doe has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, von Goldstein escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by von Goldstein! Doe is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Doe is being controlled here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. von Goldstein working the ground and pound from side control. von Goldstein wants to control but Doe is keeping him busy. von Goldstein has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Doe defending against the ground and pound. von Goldstein looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's four minutes gone in the round. von Goldstein thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. von Goldstein wants to lay and pray for a moment but Doe keeps working. von Goldstein working the ground and pound but Doe is defending the strikes. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Doe is looking to reverse the position. von Goldstein thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Otto von Goldstein dominated that round. That's time! Doe's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
von Goldstein tries to clinch up but Doe circles away and keeps his distance. Doe misses with a double jab
and von Goldstein counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. von Goldstein throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
von Goldstein takes the fight into the clinch. von Goldstein tries a body shot but Doe blocks it.
von Goldstein misses with a punch on the inside.
von Goldstein breaks the clinch.
von Goldstein dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Doe with a body punch. A glancing blow. Doe stuffs the takedown attempt from von Goldstein. von Goldstein gets slowly back to his feet. von Goldstein cracks a nice hook into Doe's ribs.
That's one minute gone in the round. von Goldstein looks to score with a jab to the body but Doe is just out of range. von Goldstein takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Doe tries to clinch up but von Goldstein circles away and keeps his distance. A shot to the body from Doe misses and von Goldstein counters with a straight punch to the midsection. von Goldstein throws a head kick but Doe moves out of range.
von Goldstein lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Doe is looking to wear down von Goldstein with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. A kick lands to the mid section there for von Goldstein. John Doe is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. von Goldstein fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Doe, pushing him back against the cage. von Goldstein lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. von Goldstein lands on the inside with an uppercut. von Goldstein pressing his opponent against the cage. von Goldstein pulls guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. von Goldstein has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Doe doesn't defend quickly enough and von Goldstein has managed to lock this one up! Can Doe escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to von Goldstein on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Otto von Goldstein! After winning the bout, Otto von Goldstein thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
