Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Unkind Artist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Osiris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Artist kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Dropkick Murphys - Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ya. Osiris is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Deicide - Angels of Hell. On his way into the cage it seems that Unkind Artist has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Unkind Artist seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Osiris takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Artist misses with a straight right.
Artist throws a lazy uppercut
and Osiris counters with a stiff right hand.
Osiris throws a big shot that misses.
Osiris jabs Artist right on the nose. Artist blinks but takes it well.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Osiris checks a leg kick.
Artist walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Osiris checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Osiris shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Artist's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Both fighters circling a little - Osiris finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

It looks like Unkind Artist has been cut.

Artist feints and then cracks Osiris's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Osiris down.

Artist uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Osiris.
Osiris takes a swing at Artist's ribcage but misses.
Osiris ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Artist moves away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Artist, as that shot connected.
Artist lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Osiris shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Artist lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Osiris has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Osiris and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Unkind Artist.
