Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruce Forsyth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brynden Tully!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tully slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Forsyth takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Tully lands with a thumping leg kick.

Tully has taken the fight to the clinch.
Tully tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Forsyth avoids it.
Tully digs a right hand underneath Forsyth's ribcage. Forsyth let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Forsyth goes for a takedown attempt but Tully pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Forsyth tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tully paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Forsyth closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tully avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Forsyth.
Tully tries to roll over but Forsyth keeps him under control.
Forsyth thows a huge punch but Tully dodges it nicely.
Tully is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Forsyth is thwarting Tully's attempts to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tully gets back to full guard.
Tully preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Tully working a defensive guard here.
Tully looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Tully is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Forsyth working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Forsyth missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Forsyth tries to free his leg and advance position but Tully is retaining full guard.
Forsyth postures up in Tully's guard and throws a big left but Tully blocks it.
Tully keeping moving, preventing Forsyth from controlling successfully.
Forsyth working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

Forsyth with a flurry of punches that miss.
Tully looking to hit a scissor sweep but Forsyth is one step ahead there.
Forsyth loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Forsyth is looking to work some ground and pound but Tully has wrist control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tully is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Forsyth throws a strike but Tully rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Tully wants to control from the top but Forsyth keeps moving.
Forsyth wants to hit a switch here but Tully passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Forsyth there!

Forsyth is squirming around, avoiding Tully's attempts to control the action.
Tully controlling from the full mount.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Tully looking to control but Forsyth is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Tully throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Tully wants to control the pace but Forsyth is squirming around nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Poor strikes thrown by Tully there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Forsyth is trying desperately to improve position.
Forsyth tries to hold on but Tully postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brynden Tully dominated that round.
That's time! Forsyth's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Forsyth misses with a takedown
and Tully counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Forsyth closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tully circles away.
Nice takedown defense from Tully. No joy for Forsyth on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruce Forsyth. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tully stuffs the takedown attempt from Forsyth. Forsyth gets slowly back to his feet.
Forsyth shoots in looking for a takedown but Tully manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Forsyth's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Forsyth walks into a jab.
Forsyth shoots in for a takedown but Tully shows good takedown defense.
Tully throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.


It looks like Bruce Forsyth has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Forsyth dives in and grabs Tully's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tully pushes down on Forsyth's head and hops out.

Tully clinches up against the cage.
Forsyth wants to take the fight to the mat but Tully manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Tully digs a right hand into Forsyth's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Forsyth's gas tank.
Tully throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Tully softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.

Tully cracks Forsyth with a nice body shot.
Tully lands an uppercut.
A right handed body shot lands from Tully.
Tully lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Tully lands a left hand.
Tully lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Forsyth.
Tully presses Forsyth against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Tully lands with a light punch inside.
Forsyth wants a takedown but no success here.
Forsyth's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Tully.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tully trying to land knees to the body.
Come on Tully - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tully landing knees to the body.
Tully lands a body punch.
Tully lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Tully is leaning against Forsyth and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Tully lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Tully pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Forsyth shoots for a double leg takedown but Tully sprawls well. He's pushed Forsyth's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tully fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Forsyth looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Tully drops Forsyth with a beautiful combination! Forsyth stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Tully is looking for the KO!


Forsyth is rocked!
Tully closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Forsyth! Tully dives in looking to finish! Forsyth is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brynden Tully!
After winning the bout, Brynden Tully thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
