Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Taiki Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Veno Taufer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aoki comes to the cage accompanied by Cudi the Kid. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Sosuke Kotani and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Aoki. Taufer does a little dance to reset his feet.
Taufer has his takedown stuffed
and Aoki counters with a nice body shot.

Aoki darts in and clinches Taufer up against the cage.

Aoki is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Taufer can't fight it off and eventually Aoki manages to take the fight to the floor. Taufer looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Taufer is trying to control the position but Aoki postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Taufer wants to stand but Aoki is controlling the position.

Aoki slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Taufer tries to bench press Aoki off him but Aoki keeps the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Taufer is not content to let Aoki control the position.
Aoki is working to tighten is grip on Taufer's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Taufer has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Aoki is really squeezing tight and eventually Taufer passes out! Aoki breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Taiki Aoki!
A very excited looking Taiki Aoki made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
