Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Filipovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CJ Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Filipovic comes to the cage accompanied by Wild Boys. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith walks into a jab.
Filipovic throws a right and a left that both miss.
Filipovic moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Smith connects with a jab.
It looks like Mirko Filipovic has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Filipovic throws a right and a left that Smith avoids nicely.
Smith fails with the takedown
and Filipovic counters with a lovely straight right hand!
No joy there for Filipovic, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Filipovic throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Smith's head.

Smith tries to clinch up but Filipovic circles away and keeps his distance.
Smith gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Filipovic counters with a left and a right that stings Smith.
Filipovic throws a nice looking combination but Smith bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Smith throws a looping overhand right but Filipovic ducks down to avoid it.
Smith shoots and misses
and Filipovic counters with a nice body kick.
Mirko Filipovic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of CJ Smith.
Filipovic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Filipovic throws a combination. Smith tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Filipovic connects with a high kick.
Smith misses with a takedown
and Filipovic counters with a crisp one two that drops Smith! Filipovic thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Smith to his feet! Smith is in big trouble!
Smith is rocked!
Smith looks winded!
That's one minute gone in the round.

and Filipovic counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Smith has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
