Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mido El Sayed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Bitar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bitar with a jab.
Bitar scoring well with a low kick there.
El Sayed circles away from the clinch attempt

and El Sayed counters with a takedown into side control.
El Sayed content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Bitar is trying to control El Sayed's posture but El Sayed avoids it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with El Sayed in particular looking to stall.

El Sayed tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bitar sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten El Sayed somewhat.

El Sayed shoots in looking for a takedown. Bitar tries to sprawl out of it but El Sayed keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bitar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bitar dives in and grabs El Sayed's left leg, looking for a takedown. El Sayed pushes down on Bitar's head and hops out.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Bitar manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
El Sayed fails to pull guard.

El Sayed jumps into guard, dragging Bitar to the mat.

El Sayed working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bitar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bitar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
