Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lance Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pasi Nurminen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rock comes into the arena with PSY - Gangnam Style blaring out of the sound system. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Vladimir Khabensky and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nurminen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rock moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rock on the wrong end of a nice hook.
A solid leg kick lands there for Rock.
Nurminen misses with a wild body shot.
Rock takes a swing at Nurminen's ribcage but misses.
Nurminen swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Rock.
Nurminen looks to land a combination but Rock avoids it well.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Nurminen.
Nurminen connects with a jab.

Pasi Nurminen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nurminen tries a body shot but Rock blocks it.
Nurminen has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Rock has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Nurminen is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Rock throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Nurminens head.
Rock wants a takedown but no success here.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Rock.
Rock trying to control the position but instead, Nurminen has worked for underhooks and has pushed Rock into the cage.

Rock is trying to trip Nurminen. He has hold of a leg but Nurminen is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Rock persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Rock wants to pass the guard but Nurminen is defending well.

Rock wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nurminen keeps working.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nurminen is on top in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Lance Rock will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Nurminen throws a leg kick but Rock moved away.
Nurminen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rock sprawls well initially but Nurminen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Nurminen is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Nurminen is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rock doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Nurminen.
Rock trying to hold on to Nurminen's head to control him but Nurminen postures up.

Nurminen throwing shots but Rock is blocking nicely.
Nurminen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rock keeps working.

Rock is looking for a sweep. Nurminen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Rock won't allow Nurminen to pass to mount.

Nurminen wants to stand up but Rock has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Rock tries to land a front kick but Nurminen steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Rock gets a double leg takedown into Nurminen's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nurminen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Rock postures up.
Rock is pushing down on Nurminen's leg trying to pass to half guard. Nurminen is fighting to maintain full guard but Rock has managed to sneak the leg through.
Rock stops Nurminen from getting back to his feet.
Rock tries to pass the half guard into mount. Nurminen knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Nurminen wants to control but Rock is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Rock thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Rock is nestled in close to Nurminen, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Lance Rock overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Nurminen is looking to stand up but Rock isn't so interested in that idea.

Rock throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Rock ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nurminen moves away.

Nurminen lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Nurminen throws a lazy right hand but Rock sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Nurminen scores with a hook to the body. Rock takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Rock pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Lance Rock is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Rock, as that shot connected.
Rock swats away the attempt to clinch by Nurminen.

Rock throws a shot from downtown. Nurminen moves away and avoids it.
