Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mercer scores with a sloppy right hand. Jonak should have avoided that one.
It looks like Milos Jonak has been cut.
Mercer cracks Jonak with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Jonak closes the distance and clinches up with Mercer, looking for a takedown. Jonak pushes Mercer against the cage but Mercer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jonak takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Mercer stuns Jonak with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Mercer lunges at Jonak with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jonak's hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Mercer can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jonak controls the pace.

Jonak stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mercer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jonak is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mercer knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Mercer stops Jonak from passing to mount.
Jonak has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Mercer!
Mercer tries to hold on but Jonak postures up.
Mercer is squirming around, avoiding Jonak's attempts to control the action.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Alex Mercer will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Milos Jonak's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Jonak's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mercer connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jonak scrambles back to his feet.
Mercer keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Mercer!
Mercer lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Mercer catches Jonak with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Jonak fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Milos Jonak. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jonak shoots in but Mercer avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jonak takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jonak shoots in and drives through. Mercer sprawls well.

Jonak will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mercer might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Jonak shoots in looking for a takedown. Mercer tries to sprawl out of it but Jonak keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mercer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Mercer drops Jonak with a beautiful combination! Jonak stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mercer is looking for the KO!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mercer connects with a looping right hand.
Jonak is rocked!
Mercer lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Jonak falls backwards - clearly groggy! Mercer dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alex Mercer!
