Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Josef Urrah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirk Diggler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Urrah comes to the cage accompanied by Johnny Cash - Oney. Dirk Diggler is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Josef Urrah! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dirk Diggler! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Viktor Lagutenko and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Urrah throws a body punch but Diggler moves out of range. Urrah really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Jab from Diggler. Urrah misses with the combination.
Urrah darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Diggler ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Urrah moves away. Diggler throws a jab but it's blocked by Urrah. A head kick misses from Diggler. Urrah throws out a loose jab but Diggler uses good head movement to avoid it. Diggler connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Diggler checks a leg kick. Diggler jabbing away but nothing is landing. Urrah throws a looping overhand right but Diggler ducks down to avoid it. Urrah throws a body punch but Diggler moves out of range. Diggler takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Urrah blocks a head kick by Diggler.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diggler connects with a solid leg kick. Diggler avoids a punch combination nicely.
Urrah shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Diggler defends it nicely. Diggler shoots in and gets a takedown into Urrah's guard. Urrah working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Diggler. Diggler drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Diggler jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Urrah wants to sweep here but Diggler controlling him for the moment. Diggler with a nice head shot there. Urrah tries to land a sweep but no joy. Diggler avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Diggler wants to get up but he can't break Urrah's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Diggler thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Urrah looking for a sweep. Not yet Urrah, not yet. Diggler distracts Urrah with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Urrah looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Diggler has gone for a leg lock! Urrah slips out almost immediately though and dives into Diggler's guard. Diggler being controlled here, momentarily. Urrah won't allow Diggler to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Urrah looking to sit in guard and control but Diggler gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Diggler wants to stand but Urrah is controlling his posture from full guard. Diggler is looking to work some ground and pound but Urrah has wrist control. Diggler throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Urrah has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Diggler can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Urrah preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Diggler drops back looking for a leg! Urrah is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Urrah manages to kick Diggler off! Diggler jumps back into Urrah's guard. Urrah not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Diggler is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Urrah is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Urrah has escaped and now he's on top! Urrah trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Diggler manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Diggler drops back looking for a leg! Urrah is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Urrah manages to kick Diggler off! Diggler jumps back into Urrah's guard. Diggler throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Urrah works some decent striking defense from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Urrah working a defensive guard here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Dirk Diggler will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Diggler throws a head kick but Urrah moves out of range.
Urrah stuffs the takedown. Urrah connects with a jab. Urrah takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Diggler ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Urrah moves away. Some wild striking there from Diggler.
Diggler throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Diggler takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Urrah fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Diggler has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Diggler throws a looping overhand right but Urrah ducks down to avoid it. Urrah scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Diggler is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A left lands for Diggler. Diggler is still on wobbly legs! Can Urrah finish him?
That's one minute gone in the round. Diggler looks to land a left hand but Urrah moved out of range nicely. Diggler seems to have recovered his senses. Urrah fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Diggler to the ground. Urrah is now in Diggler's guard. Urrah scoring with some ground and pound. Urrah throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Diggler avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Urrah stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Diggler swivels though and keeps the full guard. Urrah trying to control but Diggler is working from the bottom. Diggler wants to stand and escape but Urrah is having none of it. Urrah landing some decent shots from guard.

Diggler keeping moving, preventing Urrah from controlling successfully. Urrah throws a big elbow that misses. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Urrah wants to pass to mount but Diggler is defending the position.

Urrah missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Urrah is working for a kimura but Diggler is defending it quite comfortably.
Urrah throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Josef Urrah overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Well, if Urrah is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Urrah seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Diggler does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Urrah is figuring out what he wants to do next. Urrah trying to control the action but Diggler is working from the bottom. Urrah throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Diggler tries to kick Urrah off but Urrah keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Urrah misses with a head shot. Diggler uses the momentum to regain guard. Urrah drops back, looking for a kneebar! Diggler looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Diggler looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Diggler! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josef Urrah dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Urrah gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Diggler throws a head kick but Urrah moves out of range.
Diggler throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Diggler throws a right and a left that Urrah avoids nicely. Dirk Diggler is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Urrah throws a quick inside leg kick. Diggler misses with a kick to the body.
Josef Urrah is winning the standup battle so far. Urrah cracks Diggler with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Diggler throws a leg kick that misses. Urrah just misses with a punch to the body.
Dirk Diggler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Urrah misses the shot to the body. Diggler throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Urrah feints and then cracks Diggler's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Diggler down.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diggler falls off balance throwing a combination
and Urrah counters with a takedown into side control. Diggler takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Urrah lands a few punches from side control. Urrah passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Diggler! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Urrah cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Urrah with a couple of short strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Urrah lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Diggler hang on? Urrah trying to control but he's not successful this time. Poor strikes thrown by Urrah there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Diggler wants to get back to his feet.
Urrah wants to control the pace but Diggler is squirming around nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Urrah working for a submission but Diggler is keeping him at bay. Diggler is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Urrah misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Urrah trying to control but he's not successful this time. Diggler is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Urrah wants to control the action but instead Diggler gets a body lock and reverses into Urrah's guard! Nice work!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diggler throws a big elbow that misses. Urrah is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Diggler is not content to let Urrah control the position. Diggler is trying to stand.
Urrah passes the guard and advances to mount! Urrah thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Diggler utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Urrah wants to pass the guard but Diggler is keeping the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Josef Urrah showed his dominance in that final round. Well Urrah has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
