The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Ivan Kurochkin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Petrov scores with a punch to the head.

Starsky throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Petrov doesn't manage to clinch there - Starsky circles away.
Petrov tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Starsky connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Starsky misses with a hook.
Starsky lands a big head kick that sends Petrov tumbling to the mat! Starsky takes a step backwards and waves Petrov back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Petrov is rocked!
It looks like Pavel Petrov has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Starsky throws a low kick but Petrov avoids it.
Oh Petrov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Petrov tries to land a leg kick but Starsky saw it coming and moves away.
Petrov throws a hook but Starsky avoids it easily.
Starsky throws a body kick that misses.
Starsky with a nice cross.
Petrov misses with a left hand
and Starsky counters with a nice leg kick.
Starsky misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Starsky lands a leg kick that knocks Petrov off balance momentarily.
Petrov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Starsky scores with a kick to the midsection.
Petrov seems to have got his legs back now.
Starsky scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Starsky cracks the inside of Petrov's front leg.
Starsky throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Starsky throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Petrov feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Starskys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Starsky is looking to chop away at Petrov's legs.
A clash of legs there as Petrov blocks the low kick.
A big right from Petrov misses.

Petrov misses with a jab, cross combination.
Petrov tries to clinch up but Starsky circles away and keeps his distance.
Petrov blocks a head kick by Starsky.
Petrov bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Starsky's head.
Allan Starsky is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Starsky lands a big head kick that sends Petrov tumbling to the mat! Starsky takes a step backwards and waves Petrov back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Petrov wants to land a leg kick but Starsky is out of range.
Petrov walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Starsky checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Starsky! Petrov is out on his feet! Starsky rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Petrov is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Petrov is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Allan Starsky!
A determined Allan Starsky didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
