Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cesar Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bobby Green! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cesar Diaz! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Green is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Diaz moves in looking to clinch but Green pushes him off. Diaz looks for a takedown but Green sprawls well. Green thuds a left hand into Diaz's body. Green connects with a looping right hand.
Green scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Diaz doesn't seem bothered though. Green lands a nice hook to Diaz's body. Diaz takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Diaz drops his hands momentarily and Green takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Diaz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Nice cross by Green.
That's one minute gone in the round. Good standup being displayed there by Green as he connects with a hook. Diaz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Green sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Diaz somewhat. Bobby Green has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cesar Diaz. Green scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Diaz doesn't seem bothered though. Diaz shoots in looking for a takedown. Green tries to sprawl out of it but Diaz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Green manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Diaz is trying desperately to land a takedown but Green is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Diaz. Diaz walks into a straight right hand from Green. Green stalks Diaz and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Diaz's face. Diaz staggers backwards, shaken. This has been an exciting period of action! No luck for Diaz with that takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Green fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Nice combo by Green! Oh, that's hurt him - Diaz falls to the canvas and Green follows him into side control.
Diaz is rocked! Diaz looks winded! The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Diaz is being controlled here. Diaz is still in real trouble! Can Green finish him? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Green wants to lay and pray for a moment but Diaz keeps working. Diaz seems to have recovered his senses. Diaz is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Green controls the position from side control. Diaz is looking for a sweep. Diaz is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Diaz struggling a bit here. Diaz looking for a sweep but Green has passed into full mount! Oh no! Diaz gets back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Green wants to lay and pray for a moment but Diaz keeps working. Diaz is trying to get back to full guard. Diaz is trying to maintain the position but Green is very close to passing his half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Diaz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bobby Green dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Diaz misses with a takedown attempt - Green sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Diaz takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Bobby Green is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Green scores to the head and body with a nice combination! A left lands for Green. Bobby Green is winning the standup battle so far. Diaz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Green avoids it really well and circles away. Diaz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Green's waist but Green gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Diaz off to one side. Bobby Green has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cesar Diaz.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Diaz fails with the takedown and Green counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Diaz has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. The fight stays on the outside here - Diaz looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Bobby Green is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Diaz shoots for a double leg takedown but Green sprawls well. He's pushed Diaz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Diaz shoots in for a takedown but Green shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Diaz is breathing heavily. Green lands a slapping body shot.
Green lands a lovely overhand right.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Green lands a nice shot to the body.
Green dips to his left and cracks Diaz with an uppercut! Green throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Left hook, right uppercut from Green. Cesar Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A jab from Green finds it's way through Diaz's defenses. Diaz closes the distance but Green moves to the side and Green counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Diaz fails to land the takedown. Green lands with a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Green paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Green drops Diaz with a right and a left! Green comes rushing in but Diaz regains his composure and manages to keep Green in guard.
Green knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Diaz on the ground. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Green looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Diaz looking to control.
Diaz is trying to hold Green in close to prevent damage but Green has managed to pass into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz wants to get back to full guard. Diaz is trying to maintain the position but Green is very close to passing his half guard. Diaz wants to get back to full guard. Diaz gets back to full guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Diaz looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Green puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Green content to control rather than advance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bobby Green dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Green smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Green fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Green lands a jab. Diaz takes a jab right on the kisser.
Green lands a jab to the nose. A decent looking cross lands there for Green. Green swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Diaz.
That's one minute gone in the round. Green gets caught flat footed, as Diaz shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Diaz slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Diaz throwing strikes but missing. Green keeping full guard, as Diaz tries to pass. Diaz wants to control from the top but Green keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz passes into half guard. Diaz is working for a kimura but Green is defending it quite comfortably.
Diaz stalling away here and it's allowed Green to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Cesar Diaz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz trying to control but Green is working from the bottom. Diaz trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Green avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Green wants to stand and escape but Diaz is having none of it. Diaz pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Green is keeping the position for now. Bobby Green is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The fight stays on the outside here - Diaz looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Diaz doesn't manage to clinch there - Green circles away.
Green throws a good cross that connects.
Green lands a jab-cross combination. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Green!
Diaz throws a combination that misses and Green counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. The fighters circle momentarily. Green darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bobby Green. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Green, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
