The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hai shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Truong fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hai looks to land a combination but Truong avoids it well.
A slow jab from Hai misses its intended target.
Hai looks to land a left hand but Truong moved out of range nicely.
Truong ducks under a wild hook from Hai.
Truong misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hai.
Truong bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hai misses with a takedown attempt - Truong sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Truong throws a right hand that Hai ducks under and follows up with a left that Hai also avoids with ease.
Hai shoots in for a takedown but Truong shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Vasara Hai dominated that round.
That's time! Hai's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Truong throws a lazy right hand but Hai sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Truong keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hai.
Truong moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Hai takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Jeremy Truong is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hai throws a right and a left that both miss.

Hai throws a jab when Truong was well out of range.
Hai throws an overhand right that lands on Truong's shoulder, as Truong tries to avoid the shot.
Hai is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Truong's half guard.

Vasara Hai was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
