The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee lands a jab to the head.
Lee misses with a body shot.
Nice shot lands for Grimnar.
Lee just misses with a punch to the body.
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Grimnar swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Grimnar darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Grimnar getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

It looks like Lewis Lee has been cut.
Grimnar slips a jab from Lee.
Lee misses the jab.
A head kick misses from Lee.
A leg kick checked by Grimnar.

Grimnar bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lee's head backwards.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Grimnar wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Grimnar is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lee.
Lewis Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Grimnar breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Grimnar throws out a loose jab but Lee uses good head movement to avoid it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lee looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Lee fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Grimnar, pushing him back against the cage.
Lee lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lee creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Lee presses Grimnar against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Grimnar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Grimnar is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Grimnar moves out of range as Lee throws a body kick.
Lee throws a right hand that Grimnar ducks under and follows up with a left that Grimnar also avoids with ease.

Grimnar tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Lee tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Grimnar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lee takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Grimnar thows a body shot but no joy.

Grimnar looks to score with a jab to the body but Lee is just out of range.

Lee is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

Lee throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Lee lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Grimnar to his knees! Lee keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
