The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bronson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hammer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Sloppy strikes from Hammer. Those never looked like landing.
Thomas Hammer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No joy there for Hammer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hammer throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bronson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Hammer throws a series of punches but Bronson avoids them all with ease.
Bronson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hammer looks to land a right hand but Bronson moved out of range.
Bronson attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Bronson misses with a leg kick.
Hammer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bronson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Bronson has an Americana. Hammer didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Bronson is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Bronson hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
