The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lytle moves in looking to clinch but Evans pushes him off.
Evans stuffs the takedown attempt from Lytle. Lytle gets slowly back to his feet.
Lytle shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Evans as he avoids it easily.
Lytle tries for a takedown but Evans sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Lytle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lytle shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Evans pinned against the cage. Evans gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lytle tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Evans swivels and escapes.

Lytle shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Evans's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Evans looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Lytle is defending well. Evans quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Lytle has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Evans celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
