The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Van Dam scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Bjj Expert wants to improve his position but Van Dam is controlling well.
Bjj Expert wants to control but Van Dam is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Bjj Expert is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Van Dam pulls his head out easily.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Van Dam connects with a nice short shot to Bjj Expert's temple.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Van Dam got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bjj Expert has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Van Dam has managed to get both his arms back between Bjj Expert's legs - danger averted.

Bjj Expert escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Van Dam gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Van Dam wants to stand but Bjj Expert has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Van Dam works over Bjj Expert with some ground and pound from guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Van Dam keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bjj Expert's head.
Van Dam lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Bjj Expert had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Van Dam defends it easily.
Van Dam wants to control from the top but Bjj Expert keeps moving.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jean Van Dam dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Van Dam just misses with a punch to the body.
Bjj Expert doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Van Dam. Bjj Expert does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bjj Expert thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Van Dam if he has to take too many more of those.
Bjj Expert on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Van Dam cracks Bjj Expert with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Van Dam immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Bjj Expert is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Van Dam!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jean Van Dam!
