Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jack Offerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Offerson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Can't F with da South. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Offerson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bruce Lee! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Offerson doesn't manage to clinch there - Lee circles away.
Offerson tries to clinch but Lee is having none of it. Offerson clinches with his opponent.
Offerson creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Offerson misses with a short punch on the inside. Lee prevents a takedown attempt there.

Offerson decides to pull guard. Offerson wants to sweep but no luck. Lee trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Lee pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Offerson is keeping the position for now. Offerson wants to stand but Lee is controlling the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee postures up in Offerson's guard and throws a big left but Offerson blocks it. Lee throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Lee has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Lee looking to pass the guard. Lee throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Offerson works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Lee is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Lee postures up.

Lee tries to free his leg and advance position but Offerson is retaining full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Offerson controls Lee momentarily but Lee frees himself. Lee throwing strikes but missing. Lee looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lee is looking to work some ground and pound but Offerson has wrist control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Offerson dives on top into guard. Offerson trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Offerson is fighting to break Lee's control of his arms but Lee is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Lee is looking to stand back up but Offerson counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Lee. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Offerson seems to be looking for submissions.

Bruce Lee dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Lee pivots, looking for a leg kick but Offerson is out of range and Lee settles back down. Lee misses with a series of wild punches.
A low kick from Lee misses and Offerson counters with a three punch combo that has Lee backing up. Lee nods at Offerson to acknowledge the strikes. Offerson wants to clinch up but Lee keeps it at a distance. Offerson fails in his attempt to clinch. Offerson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lee manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Offerson throws a series of punches but Lee avoids them all with ease. Offerson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lee. Offerson shoots in looking for a takedown but Lee manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Offerson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Lee misses with a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee throws a nice looking combination but Offerson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Lee moves out of range of the body kick from Offerson.
Lee shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Offerson but Offerson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Lee missing with a left hand there. Offerson fails in his attempt to clinch. Offerson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Lee connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Offerson moves in looking to clinch but Lee pushes him off. Lee shoots for a double leg takedown but Offerson sprawls well. He's pushed Lee's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Lee misses with a looping right. Lee stuffs the takedown attempt from Offerson. Offerson gets slowly back to his feet. Lee misses with a leg kick. Lee throws a leg kick but Offerson checks it. Offerson stuffs the takedown. Jack Offerson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Lee. Offerson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Lee scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Offerson regains half guard, as Lee was trying to land strikes. Lee trying to control from half guard but Offerson is working away. Lee is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Offerson has managed to free his arm - good work. Lee thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Offerson's head. Still in half guard, Lee seems content to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Offerson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Lee. Lee seems to be working for a kimura but Offerson defends the submission attempt. Offerson avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lee. Lee throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Lee looks to land a strike but Offerson avoids it nicely and regains full guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Offerson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bruce Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

A bone on bone clash there as Lee blocks the leg kick.
Bruce Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Offerson wants to slow Lee down by chopping away at his legs. Lee throws a leg kick and Offerson counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Offerson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Offerson tries to clinch but Lee is having none of it.

Offerson pushes Lee up against the cage in a clinch. Offerson working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. A head punch blocked on the inside by Offerson. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Lee swings wildly with an uppercut but Offerson uses good head movement to avoid it. Bruce Lee is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Offerson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Offerson goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Lee tries to stall but Offerson uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jack Offerson just wasn't active enough. Nice defenses there by Offerson. Offerson avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Offerson closes the distance and clinches up with Lee, looking for a takedown. Offerson pushes Lee against the cage but Lee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Offerson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lee throws a poor cross that misses
and Offerson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Offerson. Jack Offerson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Offerson is trying to break free. Offerson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Offerson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Lee controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Offerson showed his dominance in that final round. I think Lee has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
