Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Steve Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trinity Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Austin comes to the cage accompanied by Stone Cold Entrance. Hill has chosen Alice In Chains - Rooster as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Steve Austin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Trinity Hill!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill loads up on a big right hand but Austin slips the punch.

Hill gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Austin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Austin is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hill is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hill has escaped and now he's on top!

Austin working for a triangle but Hill defends it easily.
Austin wants to sweep but no luck.
Austin keeping moving, preventing Hill from controlling successfully.

Hill is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Austin thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Austin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hill doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hill manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Austin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hill can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Austin controls Hill momentarily but Hill frees himself.

Austin throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Hill really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Austin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hill gets to his feet - Austin follows without any prompting.
Hill pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Austin shoots in for a double leg but Hill sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hill throws a low kick but it's checked well by Austin.
Hill looks to land a left hand but Austin moved out of range nicely.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Hill throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Austin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hill slaps away a takedown attempt from Austin, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steve Austin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hill scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Austin doesn't seem bothered though.
Hill tried to score with a low kick but Austin checks it.
A punch lands to the side of Austin 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Hill throws a push kick but Austin slaps the foot to one side.
Austin dives in and grabs Hill's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hill pushes down on Austin's head and hops out.
Hill throws a lazy right hand but Austin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Hill looks to score with a jab to the body but Austin is just out of range.
Austin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hill sprawls well. Hill wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Austin gets slowly back to his feet.

Hill fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Austin.
Hill fails to land with a series of punches.
A bone on bone clash there as Austin blocks the leg kick.
Austin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hill counters with a right hand to the body.
Hill stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hill wants it to stay on the feet.

Hill throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Austin avoids the body shot from Hill.
Hill turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Austin fails to land the takedown.
Austin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nice takedown defense from Hill. No joy for Austin on that attempt.
Austin is breathing heavily.
Austin shoots in for a takedown but Hill shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hill.
Hill throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hill throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Austin shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hill defends it nicely.
Austin tries for a takedown but Hill sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Austin.
Hill thumps Austin with a low kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Trinity Hill will probably get the nod.

and Hill counters with a good, hard body kick but Austin shrugs it off.
Hill dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Austin. That did some damage!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hill can do anything to dispel that myth.

Austin drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hill dives on top into guard.

Hill is looking to stand up but Austin won't let him.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Austin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hill wants to get up but he can't break Austin's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Austin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hill's guard.
Austin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hill works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Steve Austin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hill pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Hill lands with a kick to the temple. Austin shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Hill feints and then cracks Austin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Austin down.
Good leg kick by Hill there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Austin has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Hill.
Austin takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Steve Austin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hill lets loose with a powerful body kick. Austin will feel that in the morning.
Hill buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hill thuds his shin into the meat of Austin's side.
Hill cracks Austin with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hill scores with the left hand. Austin knows he should have avoided that one.
Hill is looking to slow Austin down with leg kicks.
Austin is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Austin avoids a punch combination nicely.
Austin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hill avoids it really well and circles away.

Trinity Hill showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Austin dives in and grabs Hill's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hill pushes down on Austin's head and hops out.
Austin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hill circles away.

Hill defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Austin.

Trinity Hill seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Hill seems to be stalking Austin here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Austin drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
