Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Johansson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Li Fen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fen has chosen Its The Final Countdown as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johansson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Johansson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fen is just riding it out for now. Johansson eventually gives up the hold.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Johansson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Fen is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Johansson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Fen's back instead.

Johansson is persistently looking for the submission but Fen is defending it well.

Fen turns into Johansson and is now in his guard.
Johansson wants to sweep here but Fen controlling him for the moment.

Fen remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Fen shoots in but Johansson avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Johansson has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Fen is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Johansson.

Fen decides to stand up, so the ref orders Johansson to his feet.

Fen scores a takedown into full mount!
Fen wants to stand but Johansson is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Johansson's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Fen manages to capitalize on a mistake by Johansson to take his back!
Johansson wants to escape the position.
Johansson breaks Fen's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Johansson has gone for a leg lock! Fen slips out almost immediately though and dives into Johansson's guard.
Fen tries to free his leg and advance position but Johansson is retaining full guard.
Johansson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Johansson looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Fen puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Fen tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Fen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Johansson's guard.
Johansson throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Johansson is looking for a triangle here but Fen uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Fen is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Fen defending well as Johansson loads up on a big left hand.
Fen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Johansson swivels and escapes.
Johansson feints and as Fen raises his hands in defense, Johansson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Johansson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Fen has control of Johansson's left arm, preventing Johansson from doing any damage.
Johansson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fen manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Johansson has Fen in his guard.
Johansson has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Fen has passed into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Fen decides to stand up, so the ref orders Johansson to his feet.
Fen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Johansson is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Fen is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Fen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Johansson is desperately trying to improve his position but Fen has a good base and remains in mount.

Fen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Johansson is looking to escape.

Fen is trying to stick to Johansson's back but Johansson is turning into Fen. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Fen's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Johansson.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Johansson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fen's guard.

Johansson wants to pass the guard but Fen is keeping the position.

Let's hope that Fen has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Fen shoots in and bounces Johansson off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.

Johansson is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Fen pulls his head out easily.
Fen passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Johansson!

Johansson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Fen wants to control from the top but Johansson keeps moving.
Fen avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Johansson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Johansson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Li Fen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
