Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Duffy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrzej Andrysiak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duffy has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jordan Duffy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andrzej Andrysiak!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrysiak fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

and Duffy counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Jordan Duffy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrzej Andrysiak.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Andrysiak is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Duffy doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Andrysiak.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Duffy looks like he's trying to stand up.
Andrysiak thows a huge punch but Duffy dodges it nicely.
Andrysiak is keen to just control but Duffy is a slippery customer.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Andrzej Andrysiak was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Duffy tries to close the distance and clinch but Andrysiak swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
A looping hook to the body misses from Duffy. Andrysiak does a little dance to reset his feet.
Andrysiak has his takedown stuffed
and Duffy counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Duffy is looking to work some ground and pound but Andrysiak has wrist control.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Duffy throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Andrysiak works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Andrysiak is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Andrysiak working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Duffy.
Duffy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Duffy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Andrysiak on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Duffy keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Andrysiak's head.

Andrysiak is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Duffy wants to get up but he can't break Andrysiak's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Andrysiak working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Duffy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Duffy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jordan Duffy will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Andrysiak shoots for a double leg takedown but Duffy sprawls well. He's pushed Andrysiak's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Duffy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Andrysiak swivels and escapes.

Andrysiak shoots in for a double leg but Duffy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Andrysiak throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Duffy's waist but Duffy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Andrysiak off to one side.
Andrysiak tries to close the distance and clinch but Duffy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Duffy tries to keep at a distance but Andrysiak has taken the fight into the clinch.

Andrysiak utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Andrysiak uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Duffy tries to clinch but Andrysiak is having none of it.

Andrysiak fails with the takedown
and Duffy counters with a head kick. That will keep Andrysiak thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
The fight stays on the outside here - Duffy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Duffy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
The fighters circle momentarily. Andrysiak darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Duffy scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Andrysiak tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Andrysiak wants to control but Duffy postures up.
Duffy grinds an elbow into Andrysiak's temple.
Andrysiak regains half guard, as Duffy was trying to land strikes.
Duffy is pressing down on Andrysiak's thigh, looking to free his foot. Andrysiak is holding on for now.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jordan Duffy.
I think Duffy has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
