Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Melendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Melendez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to World Destruction. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Melendez has taken the fight to the clinch.
Melendez tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jones smiles and moves away.
Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Melendez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Melendez decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Melendez wants to control but Jones is keeping him busy.
Melendez maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Jones could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Melendez has cracked it and Jones is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Melendez!
