The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liu fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Green sprawls well initially but Liu persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Liu looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Green has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Liu can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
