Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valentine throws a hook to the side of Taylor 's head but Taylor sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Valentine misses with a takedown attempt
and Taylor counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Valentine keeping moving, preventing Taylor from controlling successfully.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Taylor accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Valentine wants to stand and escape but Taylor is having none of it.

Taylor wants to control but Valentine is keeping him busy.
Valentine on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Valentine tries to get out of the position.
Valentine is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Taylor asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Taylor is looking to take a break and control but Valentine is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Valentine knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Taylor on the ground.
Valentine dodges the ground and pound from Taylor .

Taylor lands a couple of good shots and Valentine has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Valentine covers up after that shot from Taylor .

Taylor really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Valentine.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Taylor . Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Valentine is trying to stand back up.
Valentine seems to have got his legs back now.

Taylor throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Valentine!
Valentine tries to escape the position.
Taylor scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Valentine is looking for a way out.
Valentine is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Valentine is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Taylor .

Valentine looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Taylor gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.

Taylor is loading up with his shots from the back and Valentine is in big trouble! Valentine taps out to strikes and the fight is over!
