Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Renzo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Renzo Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
31 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Johnson! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Alexandre Firmino and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Knees in the clinch landing for Johnson.
Johnson creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Gracie's defenses.
It looks like Renzo Gracie has been cut. Gracie jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Johnson walks away with a smile on his face. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Johnson drives through and clinches with Gracie against the cage.
Johnson tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Johnson lands a damaging elbow. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Johnson lands an elbow inside that Gracie shrugs off. Johnson taking a breather. Johnson crunches a lovely knee into Gracie's ribcage. A nice glancing elbow lands by Johnson. Johnson creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Gracie's defenses. Gracie is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson lands with a light punch inside.
Renzo Gracie's cut is getting worse. Johnson gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Gracie is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Johnson to keep the fight standing. Johnson lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Johnson is pushing Gracie up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. A knee to the head by Johnson.

Renzo Gracie's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Johnson lands an elbow inside that Gracie shrugs off. Johnson lands an elbow inside.
Gracie is rocked! Johnson lands a good knee to the midsection. Gracie won't want to take too many of those. Oh Gracie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Johnson has Gracie pressed against the cage. He pushes Gracie back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Johnson throws a beautiful elbow that sends Gracie crashing to the floor! Johnson piles on the pressure with more strikes! Gracie is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Johnson! John Johnson was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
