Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jay Wilkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilkins comes to the cage accompanied by DMX - Ain't no sunshine. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jay Wilkins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John White! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilkins throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. White tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wilkins is in White's guard. Wilkins with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Wilkins lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Wilkins is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Wilkins has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Wilkins throws a big right hand that misses. White is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wilkins defends well. White is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wilkins is controlling him. Wilkins scoring with punches to the head and body. Wilkins is in close to White's body, working some short punches and elbows. Wilkins working some strikes from top position. Wilkins working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wilkins is working White over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. White had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wilkins defends it easily. Wilkins lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. White has momentary wrist control but Wilkins slips an elbow through the middle. Wilkins is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Wilkins content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Wilkins keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of White's head. Wilkins sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed White's guard. Wilkins scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Wilkins is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Wilkins lands a nice short elbow. Nice strikes from Wilkins there. Wilkins is looking for a kimura here.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. White tries to kick Wilkins off but Wilkins keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wilkins is working for a submission of some sort.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! White looks like he's trying to stand up.
Wilkins seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
