The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young swings for the body but Kristofferson moves out of range.
Young thuds a left hand into Kristofferson's body.
Young swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kristofferson counters with a shoot takedown. Young fights it but they end up in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Kristofferson passes Young's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Kristofferson is working for a submission of some sort.
Kristofferson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kristofferson trying to control the action but Young is working from the bottom.
Kristofferson frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Kristofferson tries to control but Young wriggling away.
Young tries to hold on but Kristofferson pushes him away.
Kristofferson throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Young has his hands clasped together but Kristofferson breaks the hold and Young is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Kristofferson!
