Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dominickoy Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artur Pytong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maia comes to the cage accompanied by techno viking. Pytong has chosen La Bamba as his entrance music. Dominickoy Maia had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maia tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Pytong manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Good leg kick by Pytong there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Maia closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Pytong did well to prevent Maia getting side control.
Maia seems to be working for a kimura but Pytong defends the submission attempt.
Pytong is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Pytong manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Pytong is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Maia is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Maia postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Pytong is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Maia, into his guard.

Maia has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pytong can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Pytong got a little sloppy there for a moment and Maia has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pytong has managed to get both his arms back between Maia's legs - danger averted.

Maia sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Pytong closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Maia to the mat! Maia manages to get full guard.

Pytong wants to control from the top but Maia keeps moving.
Maia manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pytong manages to get himself to full guard.
Pytong has his foot on Maia's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Maia works his way back into a safe position though.
Maia drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Pytong dives on top into guard.
Pytong is sitting in close to Maia's body. Maia has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Pytong is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Pytong is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Maia.

A relieved looking Dominickoy Maia thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
