Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Cooperman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Lynott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lynott has chosen Out in the Fields as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Max Cooperman looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Max Cooperman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phil Lynott! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cooperman avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Lynott tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cooperman swats him away and circles back towards the center. Lynott misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lynott looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Lynott with a hook. Lynott tries to bum rush Cooperman with a series of wild strikes but Cooperman uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Lynott misses with a head kick.
Cooperman swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lynott tries to clinch but Cooperman is having none of it. Lynott scores with a hook. Cooperman connects with the punch. Cooperman circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lynott connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Lynott misses with a few strikes there.
Lynott throws a sloppy head kick and Cooperman moves out of range easily. A swing and a miss from Cooperman.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lynott looks to land a combination but Cooperman avoids it well. Nice uppercut lands for Lynott. That snapped Cooperman's head back.
Lynott drives through and clinches with Cooperman against the cage.
Lynott throws an elbow that misses.
Cooperman tries to break free but Lynott pushes him back against the cage. Cooperman wants to break free but Lynott has control.
Cooperman avoids the elbow strike from Lynott, against the cage.
Cooperman breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lynott scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Cooperman just misses with a punch to the body.
Lynott is looking to clinch but Cooperman is avoiding it.
Cooperman blocks a head kick by Lynott.
Lynott lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Cooperman backs up against the cage.
Lynott swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lynott clinches with his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Cooperman as Lynott tries to tie him up. Lynott blocks an uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lynott throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Cooperman blocks it with crossed arms. Cooperman has had enough of the clinch but Lynott keeps him there for the moment. Cooperman blocks the elbow strike.
Lynott pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Lynott misses with a series of wild punches.
Lynott throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lynott displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cooperman throws out the jab. Cooperman misses with a body shot.
Lynott misses with a few strikes there.
Lynott lands with an uppercut that bounces Cooperman off the cage and back into range. Cooperman jabbing away but nothing is landing. Lynott throws a hook but Cooperman avoids it easily. Phil Lynott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A nice combination there by Lynott.
Lynott closes the distance and clinches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lynott lands a damaging elbow. Cooperman will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Lynott up against the cage. Cooperman tries to circle away but Lynott has him pinned against the cage. Cooperman is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Lynott manages to break the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lynott looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Cooperman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cooperman throws a big shot that misses. Lynott closes the distance and clinches. Knees in the clinch landing for Lynott.
Cooperman is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lynott lands an elbow just above Cooperman 's eye. Lynott lands an elbow that stopped Cooperman in his tracks for a moment.
It looks like Max Cooperman has been cut. Lynott lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Lynott with a knee to the head.
Cooperman is rocked! Cooperman takes an elbow to the temple. Oh Cooperman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Clinched against the cage, Lynott lands a big elbow that drops Cooperman! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Cooperman is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
