Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vey stuffs the takedown attempt from Morris. Morris gets slowly back to his feet.
Vey throws a leg kick but Morris sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Nice sprawl there from Vey as Morris shoots in.
Vey misses with a low kick.
Horrible takedown by Morris or perhaps it was just good defense by Vey which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Asher Morris. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Vey throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Vey throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Morris tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Morris tries to pull guard but Vey holds him up against the cage and eventually Morris drops back down to his feet.
Morris tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Vey smiles and moves away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Morris.

Vey misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Morris shoots in and drives through. Vey sprawls well.
Morris shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Morris was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Morris is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Vey is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Vey flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Morris anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Vey and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Morris slips an arm under Vey chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Morris has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Morris is squeezing on Vey like an anaconda would it's prey. Vey fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Asher Morris!
