The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith shoots in for a takedown but Loria shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Loria scores with a shot to the body.
Good work by Smith as he checks the leg kick.
Loria cracks Smith with a good jab.
Aldon Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith shoots in and drives through. Loria sprawls well.
Smith takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Loria slaps away a takedown attempt from Smith, before circling back to the center of the mat.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Smith is defended easily by Loria.
Loria lands a left and a right that send Smith crashing to the mat, dazed. Loria thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Loria moves in close and cracks Smith with a massive right hand! Smith, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Loria!
