Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Micah Magnum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thurgood Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins has chosen Mary Jane as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Thurgood Jenkins!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magnum misses with a leg kick.
Magnum tries to score with a low kick but Jenkins moves his leg out of the way.
Jenkins's corner calls for a 1-2. Jenkins obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Magnum misses with a straight right.
Jenkins slips under a jab.
Jenkins moves out of range of the strikes.
Magnum thows a leg kick but Jenkins checks it

and Jenkins counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jenkins wants to take a breather but Magnum is having none of it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Jenkins counters with a single leg into guard. Magnum didn't expect that.
Jenkins not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Micah Magnum.

Jenkins working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Magnum seems to have got his legs back now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jenkins thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Magnum is not content to let Jenkins control the position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jenkins looks up at the clock and then as Magnum takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Jenkins smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Jenkins wants to lay and pray for a moment but Magnum keeps working.
Jenkins throwing strikes but Magnum manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Jenkins is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Jenkins looking to hit a scissor sweep but Magnum is one step ahead there.
Jenkins is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jenkins wants to control but Magnum is keeping him busy.

Magnum loads up on a big right hand but Jenkins slips the punch.
Magnum throws a low kick, looking for Jenkins's leg but Jenkins calmly moves out of range.
Jenkins has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That kick from Magnum tenderised Jenkins's leg. Jenkins is trying to keep his angry face on.
Magnum throws a solid leg kick but Jenkins takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Magnum.

Jenkins swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Magnum.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Micah Magnum has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jenkins sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Magnum's guard.

Thurgood Jenkins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jenkins has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
