The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalmakoura looks to land a combination but Papieros avoids it well.
Kalmakoura shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Papieros but Papieros pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A big left from Kalmakoura misses.
Kalmakoura wants to slow Papieros down by chopping away at his legs.
Kalmakoura really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kalmakoura looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Papieros is fending him off so far but Kalmakoura persists. Nope, Papieros circles away and we're back to standing.
Papieros drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kalmakoura pushes a forearm under Papieros's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Papieros is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
