Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sho Goon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Baggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sho Goon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brian Baggs! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baggs connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Goon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Baggs tries to avoid it but Goon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Baggs to the ground. Baggs escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Baggs leaves Goon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Baggs misses with the combination.
Goon takes a body punch but keeps moving. Baggs scores with a nice head shot. A punch combination from Baggs misses. Baggs displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Goon. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sho Goon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Baggs slaps away a takedown attempt from Goon, before circling back to the center of the mat. Baggs throws a series of punches but Goon avoids them all with ease. Baggs ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Goon shoots in but Baggs avoids the takedown attempt easily. Baggs throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Goon. Brian Baggs is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Baggs scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Goon looks for a takedown but Baggs sprawls well. Goon is breathing heavily. A left lands for Baggs. Baggs misses with a wild combination.
Baggs stalks Goon and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Goon's face. Goon staggers backwards, shaken. Baggs tries to bum rush Goon with a series of wild strikes but Goon uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Goon on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Baggs gets caught napping as Goon dives in and scores a takedown. Baggs manages to retain guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Goon looking to sit in guard and control but Baggs gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Goon looking for a guillotine here but Baggs defends easily.
Baggs trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Goon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Baggs manages to get himself to full guard.
Goon sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Baggs's guard. Baggs trying to control here.
Baggs looks like he's trying to stand up.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Baggs is staying active underneath Goon, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Goon moves into full mount! Baggs won't be happy about that!
Goon moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Baggs has worked his arm free - good work by Baggs!
Goon is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Baggs has escaped the position, nice work there. Baggs is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Goon asserts his dominance and retains side control.
 That's five minutes gone in the round.
Goon tries for a kimura but Baggs is defending well. Goon trying to control the action but Baggs is working from the bottom. Baggs is holding Goon down, trying to stall.
 That's six minutes gone in the round. Goon trying to control the position but Baggs is working away. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Baggs is trying to control Goon's posture but Goon avoids it. Baggs is looking for a sweep.
 That's seven minutes gone in the round. Goon is looking to take a break and control but Baggs is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Goon thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Goon has hold of Baggs's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Baggs tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Goon cranks the arm and Baggs screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Baggs, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 8:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Sho Goon!
