The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Albarn throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Koshcheck was covering up waiting for the punch and Albarn finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Albarn trying to control but Koshcheck is working from the bottom.
Albarn throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Koshcheck works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Albarn postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Albarn controlling from the top position.
Albarn postures up in Koshcheck's guard and throws a big left but Koshcheck blocks it.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Maka Albarn hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Koshcheck jabs Albarn right on the nose. Albarn blinks but takes it well.
Koshcheck misses with a head kick.
Koshcheck misses with an attempted mid kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Albarn.
Koshcheck sizes up Albarn with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
A combination from Koshcheck does no damage.
No joy there for Koshcheck, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Koshcheck swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Albarn.
Albarn uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Koshcheck.
Koshcheck looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Albarn closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Koshcheck has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Albarn is working away from the top position though.

Albarn shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Koshcheck defends it nicely.
Albarn is still on wobbly legs! Can Koshcheck finish him?
Koshcheck circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Albarn to the canvas! Albarn doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Koshcheck keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
