Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jossh Doubles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrian Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doubles kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Linkin Park In the End . Martinez has chosen I Will Not Bow as his entrance music. Adrian Martinez will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jossh Doubles! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adrian Martinez! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martinez uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Doubles. Martinez throws a combination. Doubles tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Martinez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Doubles scores with a takedown into Martinez's guard. Martinez being controlled here, momentarily. Doubles tries to free his leg and advance position but Martinez is retaining full guard. Martinez is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Doubles controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Doubles trying to control but Martinez is working from the bottom. Martinez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Doubles doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Doubles manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Doubles might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doubles passes into half guard. Doubles is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Doubles has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Doubles seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Martinez for as long as he can get away with.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Doubles is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Well, if Doubles is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Jossh Doubles just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Doubles has a takedown stuffed. Doubles gets the takedown into side control. Martinez tries to improve position but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Martinez sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Doubles is tying to control. Martinez wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Martinez is looking for a sweep. Doubles is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Doubles is taking a breather. Martinez says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Martinez trying to control but Doubles postures up.
Doubles is controlling the pace.
Martinez is staying active underneath Doubles, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Doubles is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Martinez is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Doubles slows the pace down in half guard. Martinez slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Martinez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Doubles. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Doubles controlling from the top position. Doubles forces his way into half guard. Martinez tries to roll over but Doubles keeps him under control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jossh Doubles dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Doubles feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Doubles content to stall in guard here. Doubles stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Martinez swivels though and keeps the full guard. Martinez wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Doubles is now in half guard. Doubles is trying to control the action in half guard but Martinez is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Doubles wants to pass to mount but Martinez is defending the position. Doubles controlling the action here.

Doubles is looking to take a break and control but Martinez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Doubles gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Doubles has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Martinez is trying to keep an underhook but Doubles manages to get the takedown into half guard. Martinez has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Doubles is working away from the top position though. Doubles works his foot free and advances to mount. Martinez is squirming around, avoiding Doubles's attempts to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doubles tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Martinez is in all sorts of trouble here.
Doubles is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Martinez has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Martinez tries to improve his position but instead Doubles has taken his back! Martinez defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Doubles's arms. Martinez is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Doubles off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Martinez tries to escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Martinez trying to control the position but Doubles manages to sink in the hooks. Martinez is in bad spot here.
