Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Mathison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zeljko Raznatovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mathison might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Sickness. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Chad Campbell and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raznatovic misses with an uppercut.
Both fighters circling a little - Mathison finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Mathison closes the distance but Raznatovic moves to the side
and Raznatovic counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mathison misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Raznatovic avoids the head kick by Mathison.
Mathison tries to score a power double leg takedown but Raznatovic sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mathison somewhat.

Mathison looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Raznatovic has picked Mathison up and slammed him! Mathison can't keep hold of the triangle and Raznatovic manages to pass to side control!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Raznatovic feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Raznatovic is working to tighten is grip on Mathison's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Mathison has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Raznatovic is really squeezing tight and eventually Mathison passes out! Raznatovic breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
