Balboa comes to the cage accompanied by Fratelli D'Italia. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diablo misses with a takedown attempt
and Balboa counters with a straight right hand.
Nice straight punches there by Balboa. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Balboa.
It looks like Nico Diablo has been cut.
Diablo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Balboa moves into the clinch.
Balboa is pushing Diablo up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Balboa gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Diablo.
Giovanni Balboa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nico Diablo.

Balboa lands with a right to the head.

Balboa lands a big right hand that drops Diablo! The killer instinct kicks in and Balboa finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Balboa!
