Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Don Key (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Key comes into the arena with EYELID - REGENERATE blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 4 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Don Key! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Craig Mason! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Micheangelo Fripello and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The crowd cheers as Mason lands an impressive looking overhand right. Key doesn't seem phased though. Key throws a looping overhand right but Mason ducks down to avoid it. Mason connects with a good right hand that stumbles Key. Key circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Mason is looking to clinch but Key is avoiding it.
A nice combination there by Mason.
It looks like Don Key has been cut. Craig Mason seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mason misses the shot to the body. Key fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mason, pushing him back against the cage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mason struggles to land a body shot inside as Key controls his hands.

Key is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Mason is keeping busy. Key prevents a body shot from Mason. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Key. Key connects with a nasty looking knee right to Mason's face.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mason goes for a takedown attempt but Key pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

and Key makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Mason moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Mason scores to the head and body with a nice combination! A telegraphed right hand from Key misses the target. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Key avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Mason takes a swing at Key's ribcage but misses. Mason misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mason throws a hook but Key blocks it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Craig Mason dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Key counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Mason is lucky that one didn't land flush. Key lands with a straight right. Mason didn't see that one coming. A head kick misses from Key. Key swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Mason throws a lazy right hand but Key sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A looping hook to the body misses from Mason. Key does a little dance to reset his feet. Mason keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Key tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mason was well out of range. Poor timing from Key. A jab lands there for Key. Mason tries to close the distance and clinch but Key swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Key with a nice cross. Key cracks Mason with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Mason falls to his knees and Key doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Don Key! Don Key retains his welterweight title! Post fight, Don Key stared into the camera and said 'First a I a gotta say great fight to lance a flamingo, he took a beating, so a props for a dat.. Second a I a gotta thank Gary s coffee for letting come over to the E.F.C, and last thanks to my alliance B.H.P. for a life, Donkey Style mother fuckers....'.
