PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bee Killah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John The Pitbull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Pitbull has chosen Three 6 Mafia - It's a Fight as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Bee Killah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 25 - 1, fighting out of London, John The Pitbull!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Pitbull circles away from the clinch attempt
and The Pitbull counters with a straight right hand.


It looks like Bee Killah has been cut.
The Pitbull throws a predictable looking body shot

and Killah moves into the clinch.
The Pitbull taking a breather.

The Pitbull's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The Pitbull looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Killah is fending him off so far but The Pitbull persists. Nope, Killah circles away and we're back to standing.
Killah tries to close the distance and clinch but The Pitbull swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The Pitbull drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The Pitbull chips away with some ground and pound.
The Pitbull is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Killah knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for The Pitbull on the ground.
The Pitbull's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The Pitbull tries to free his leg and advance position but Killah is retaining full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. John The Pitbull was stalling too much, according to the referee.
The Pitbull moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The Pitbull throws a lazy uppercut
and Killah counters with a nice body shot.

The Pitbull throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Killah tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. The Pitbull is in Killah's guard.
The Pitbull is stalling in the full guard.

The Pitbull drops back looking for a leg! Killah is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Killah manages to kick The Pitbull off! The Pitbull jumps back into Killah's guard.
The Pitbull postures up in Killah's guard and throws a big left but Killah blocks it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Killah is looking to stand up but The Pitbull isn't so interested in that idea.
The Pitbull slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. John The Pitbull wasn't active enough on the ground.
The Pitbull throws a hook but Killah avoids it easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Killah takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Killah tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and The Pitbull counters with a left to the body.
Killah staying out of range there.
A jab from The Pitbull does it's job there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The Pitbull cracks a nice hook into Killah's ribs.
Killah stuffs the takedown attempt from The Pitbull. The Pitbull gets slowly back to his feet.
Killah tries to clinch up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John The Pitbull dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Bee Killah's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Killah closes the distance but The Pitbull moves to the side
and The Pitbull counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

The Pitbull gets a takedown into half guard.
The Pitbull stalling.
The Pitbull passes to side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The strikes coming from The Pitbull are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Let's hope that The Pitbull has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The Pitbull looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Killah is avoiding damage well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Killah is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Killah takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Killah is trying to escape the position but The Pitbull is controlling the position.

The Pitbull wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Killah, who protects the arm well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The Pitbull controls the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The Pitbull in side control, throwing shots but Killah defends.
The Pitbull lands a decent elbow from side control.
The Pitbull controls the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The Pitbull connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Killah some visible discomfort.
Killah seems a little lost for a moment, as The Pitbull dominates the positioning.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The Pitbull is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Killah is trying to escape and The Pitbull transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Killah is forced to tap! Nice work there by The Pitbull! Very nice indeed!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). John The Pitbull!
John The Pitbull gave a mention to Fossington & Blythe: Gentlemen's Fight Attire in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
