Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Walter Haze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugo Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haze comes to the cage accompanied by King Of Amarillo by Issues. The key to victory for Walter Haze has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Walter Haze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hugo Wolf!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Haze changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wolf looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Haze lands a nice forearm strike.
Haze working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
What's Wolf going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
Haze misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Wolf managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Haze.
Haze has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Wolf is squirming around, avoiding Haze's attempts to control the action.
Wolf wants to hold on but Haze pushes him away.

Haze takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Haze really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Haze unloads with some shots from mount but Wolf bucks and avoids them well.

Haze has hold of Wolf's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Wolf manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wolf can do anything to dispel that myth.

Haze trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Wolf avoids a series of strikes thrown by Haze.
Haze thowing shots but they're missing.
Haze throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Wolf is trying desperately to improve position.
Haze wants to control the pace but Wolf is squirming around nicely.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Haze wants to control the action but instead Wolf gets a body lock and reverses into Haze's guard! Nice work!

Haze closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wolf quickly recovers to half guard.
Haze not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Haze will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Wolf is staying active underneath Haze, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Haze looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Haze stalling away here and it's allowed Wolf to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Haze has gone for a leg lock! Wolf slips out almost immediately though and dives into Haze's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wolf accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Wolf seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hugo Wolf showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Haze closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Haze wants to pass to mount but Wolf is defending the position.

Haze is looking for a kimura here.
Wolf has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Haze is working away from the top position though.
Haze is looking to take a break and control but Wolf is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Wolf wants to improve his position but Haze is controlling well.

Wolf kicks off Haze and gets to his feet.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Haze has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Wolf regains guard immediately.

Haze stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wolf swivels though and keeps the full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Walter Haze.
I think Haze has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
