The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Nice uppercut lands for Williams. That snapped Sladkov's head back.
Sladkov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Williams tries for a takedown but Sladkov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Williams looks to land a body kick but Sladkov moved away.
Good standup being displayed there by Sladkov as he connects with a hook.

Williams fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sladkov manages to avoid it.

Williams fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Williams throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sladkov was covering up waiting for the punch and Williams finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Williams working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Williams working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Sladkov's head.

Williams is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Sladkov is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Sladkov has escaped and now he's on top!

Williams wants to sweep here but Sladkov controlling him for the moment.

Williams throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Sladkov escapes and throws Williams's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Williams has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Williams moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Sasa Sladkov has been cut.
Williams tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Sladkov is able to avoid easily.
Sasa Sladkov is winning the standup battle so far.
Williams misses with a wild body shot.
Sladkov defending well as Williams loads up on a big left hand.
Sladkov lands with a cross.

Williams finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

and Williams counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Sladkov digs a good body shot into Williams's ribs.

Williams lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Sladkov backs up against the cage.
A decent looking cross lands there for Sladkov.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Sladkov counters with a crisp right hand that drops Williams! Sladkov lets Williams back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Sladkov drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Williams's head, knocking him out cold! Sladkov is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sasa Sladkov!
