Assante comes to the cage accompanied by Lose Yourself. Darglio has chosen The Black Keys "Funk #49" as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darglio goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Salvatore Assante has been cut.
A swing and a miss from Darglio.
Assante blocks a leg kick.
A combination from Assante does no damage.
Assante ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Darglio moves away.
Darglio throws a low kick but Assante avoids it.
Darglio blocks a jab.
Assante takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Assante tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Darglio was well out of range. Poor timing from Assante.
Assante ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Darglio moves away.
Assante closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Darglio lands with a kick to the ribs.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Darglio drops Assante with a beautiful combination! Assante stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Darglio is looking for the KO!
Assante is rocked!
Assante misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Darglio counters with an inside leg kick.
Oh Assante is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Assante is breathing heavily.
Assante walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Darglio! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
